Liddel Vs Coutour 3 on Bravo at 10pm

this is the big one in the UFC

another unmissable match

 

both these guys are UFC legends i cant wait for this

 

the first fight was amazing with 'the natural' Coutour pounding 'the iceman' to defeat in an upset, but i always thought Coutour would win it!

 

in the next fight Coutour was knocked clean out after having his eye acidenaly couged by Liddel.

 

these guys have fought and beaten everyone, so tonight this is the BIG one.

    Both guys start very cautiously. Liddell is waiting for his shot. Couture is looking for the takedown. Both guys connect with a couple shots, and then they engage and Randy gets the takedown. But, Chuck gets right back up. Couture continues to neutralize him with the clinch. He’s going for the sweep, but can’t get it. Liddell is looking frustrated at the end of round one. Round two starts the same as round one, but as Randy moves in towards Liddell, he slips while throwing a punch, and Liddell counters with a jab and knocks him out.

    Not exactly on topic but not too far away...

     

    If you like watching UFC style fighting you should check out Pride FC. Its based in Japan and probably has the worlds best fighters. Chuck fought there and got whooped by a guy called Quinton Jackson.

     

    Top heavyweight is a russian called Fedor. If he fought Andrei Arlovski (current UFC heavyweight chamption) Fedor would win by fatality.
