I will soon have a full set of KYB AJX suspension and springs coming, and just wanted to know if anybody can provide links and tips they have come accross when replacing theirs?? The suspension I will be replacing is just stock stuff, also I have read bits and pieces regarding lowered suspension can put out the tracking and balancing, causing very uneven tyre wear?? but have also read only if its lowered by more than 25mm which hopefully it should'nt be. :duffer:

When I dropped mine by 30mm the camber was increased by exactly one degree.

I now have 2'30" of camber on the front and 2' on the rear - perfect for tight fast corners!

There are guides out there on fitting, you'll find then on http://www.300zx.org.uk , but its very straight forward. 2 nuts at the top, 1 bolt at bottom.

and you'll have to remove all the plastic boot trim to get to the rear shocks top nuts.

The ZX can do tight fast corners lol. Not so sure in mine. But i have much to learn.

i take it you mean -2deg 30 min?

that is a hell of a lot of negative camber & you will prob find out your tyres will scrub out quite quickly on the inside edge!!

It is a lot of camber and it is doing the tyres no favours, and you can't imagine some of the slides :x: I have had from the salt on the roads.

Standard Camber is 1'30" (degrees and seconds) on the front and 1' on the rear.

But I think I have now found the perfect rear tyre pressure (33 psi) for grip in the current conditions.

The car is very easy to drive quickly through twisty mountain roads of the type found in a certain Western German mountain range ..............
