got this from Chris last week and put it on the other night. I now know why other cars i've seen it with have it on the metal below the rear lights and not the pvc.

I love it in this position but don't think the adhesion will last. dot of superglue maybe but scared it will run down onto the plastic and burn it. stay or go??

it looks fine bud.when i had my cav being a nipper i decided to attach a irmsicher badge in the same style as your one onto the rubber rub strips on the side they stayed there till i sold it 3 years later so dont worry should be fine.

As long as the plastic was clean it should stick like sh1t to a blanket :D :D

If you need a superduper sticky double sided tape that sticks anything to anything, give us a shout mate.

 

We use stuff on refrigerated trailers that you need to use excessive heat to remove ! :eek:

 

Can post you some over if you are stuck !

'Cav' as in Cavalier and Irmscher being the RS Equivalent for Vauxhall. ;)

 

Does look nice Chewie, rarely have I seen badging that looks good on the Zed other than the standard stuff. Looks very nice and slick.

i had that fitted to mine in the cars early days,the stick stuff was crap so i superglued it on,took me an hour to fit it,as i knew one mistake and it was game over,the bodyshop loved me when they had to take it off to re-spray car LOL

Totally agree, but I would have warmed the panel up with a hairdryer first (Obviously something that boldy wouldn't have thought of ;) :rofl: :x: whooppssss!!! Only joking mate :D ) As long as it's got the OEM baking on it, then it should last for a long time.

vauxhall cavalier buddy and irmscher is the performace tuned versions bit like cosworth for ford and albarth for fiat

 

see pic i put the badge on the rubber strip near the front wing stayed there for atleast 3 years .think they are still on there now.
