hi guys,im looking for a swb manual tt slicktop, and its just not happening

ive looked everywhere but cant find any.(unless somebody happens to have one but not stuck it up for sale yet  )

does anyone who has had an auto converted to manual have any problems?

or is it a case of you would never know it had been an auto?

thanks in advance

A lot of people here have had the conversion done by either zedworld or ztech (apologies if I have missed anyone...) with no probs. You should be ok as long as you get one of the recommended guys to do the work, i.e. zedworld or ztech...

Someone who knew what they were looking for could tell whether the car had once been an auto, but many people would never know.

I actually prefer the auto as it has more go in mid range than the man equivalent..and I am bl**dy lazy in traffic...lol

i got mine converted by zedworld and didnt have any problems with it..................suppose the biggest problem was trying to get the grin of my face!!

would agree with other posts though, that the auto is "slightly" (emphasis on the word slightly) faster in mid range.

the manual was definatly quicker off the mark IMO though, and i think you have better control (and more fun) with the manual.
