this car is up for auction in tonight's auction :) ..... is very hi-spec but needs a full inspection especially as it has been extensively modified / re-painted.... would cost a bomb to build a car with similar spec!!

I know as well it was in plumbers weekly this week under second hand fooked old things fiver & under... :rolleyes: ................... :duffer: :)

Car sold for £4575..... by the time thats in the UK and on the road we are talking £6500 ish.

 

Ho hum. I bid up to approx 4k for it!!!

BTW I think we are talking about different cars ... this one had a couple of scratches - nothing more..... I had the auction report plus an independant agent report and it was excellent - apart from a few scratches.

Yes I think someone got their wires crossed too!!, I wanted my guy to have a look at this but my guy was stuck in the snow jams in Japan and got to the auction late by which time it had alrteady gone through, it did sell for strongish money, most likely at that price it will have soild to the Japanese domestic market, because an importer will be looking atleast £6500 OTR (basic cost), then add a further £500 for minor repairs plus mapping for UK fuel and the car already stands at £7K... BUT could you get anywhere that spec if you had £10K to spend on std car??

I know - great spec - but a risk if something goes wrong.....

A beast for the money though.... the agent estimated at 500BHP... not sure if thats close????
