clutch pedel

when i press my clutch it.. it goes about 3/4th the way down... then make a clicking noise.. which you can feel as well..... its really weird.. clutch is not slipping... and its ok.. but i am kinda concerned.... its only just started doing this. what could it be.

The clutch pedal rod is adjustable, check the lock nut has come loose and the rod adjustment moved, also have seen a problem with the pedal assembly wearing where the clevis pin fits through which gives an elongated hole and the symptoms you have said, a replacement pedal will sort this, however we have done many successful pedal repairs by removing the assembly welding the hole up and redrilling it with a fresh hole.

ok shall i take this to my nissan garage?? is it easy or difficult.. i guess I should ask.

You need to look inside the car, put the seat right back and with a torch take a look at the clutch pedal close to the top, you should be able to make out the 14mm locknut on the rod that connects the pedal to the rest of the system, sure some one posted a picture here recently and it showed the exact thing, will see if I can find it and be back in a little while.
