I can imagine your frustration mate, Iv'e been saving for 7 years to be able to afford a Z, and finally bought one  I ended up with a jap 2+2 lwb, It is so much fun! but you have to seriously treat it with respect at the same time , the only cost i didn't take into consideration when making the purchase was the running costs, with me at least £10 a day (£10=30 miles), my Z is more economical on boost! if it makes sense. but i would not give it up for anything, well unless it had 400bhp + with traction control. lol. Belive me mate if you can afford it along with the running + servicing costs then go for it, you wont regret it.

I went from an Astra to a Zed. I know no one on here has much of an opinion on Vauxhall's, but I liked mine. I did fit a V6 engine to it though, so it was quite good fun.

No match for the Zed though. Driven lots of cars in my lifetime from a Lotus Elise to a Fiat Regatta....the Zed surpasses all.

How much have you managed to save so far then?

Ive got a W reg 2.0 sri astra as a daily driver. Its nothing compared to the Z tho :D

nowhere near enough Si, as i would like a tidy one and not just the cheapest, as the probs i would probally get would cost more than getting a tidy one in the first place. i think i got enough for your bike in your avatar Si lol

LOL! I must say I paid top wack for mine, which even then, doesn't seem expensive for what you're getting if you get a good one.

absolutely ..save and save some more ..then take a zed head with you to buy one

i paid top dollar for my import but have had nothing go wrong in 3 years ..except the PTU

luckily Kirbz is just round the corner and him and his dad sorted me out full respect

but thats what this club is all about .....red zeds are faster though ...........sorry guys had to get it in first :)

Same here mate, I had a little wobble and thought no but these guys put me

straight Hope to have one soon looked at a few but I'm not going to

get burned and I am learning off here all the time.

i can understand mate it took me 5 years to be in a position to buy one,all good things come to those who wait, keep plugging away,i love mine to bits

took me about 11 years to eventually be able to afford one, i went from faster car to faster and nothing i had previousely even comes anywhere near the zed for looks, the wow factor and last but nowhere near least the performance

stick in and all will be worth it in the end

:) lamp shader you want to come to a welsh meet or contact one of us fellow taffs when theres a meet you fancy going to im sure myself t-pot or glenn and others could give you a ride bud your more than welcome :)

It will happen just keep doing what your doing. I have been waiting to get one since they came out. I finally decided to treat myself as I am old enough to afford one comfortably now. The wait was worth it. I think its great that you have subscribed! The day of ownership will come.

Konrad
