hi peeps,

hope all of you are fine and loving your zeds.ive got a bit of a problem with mine.started it up this morning.i give it about 15 minutes to warm up and stuff before i take it out on the road.done the same today and put my heater on and heard a loud squeeling sound coming from my engine.switched the heater off and the sound went away.put it back on and the sound came back.so i popped the bonnet trying to discover what the problem is but me being a total novice when it comes to engines i cant figure it out.but basically the loud squeeling noise is coming from the front part of the engine just behind the bonnet locking system.

any ideas on what it mind be?any will be appreciated.

thanks guys..

Its the belt slipping on the cog mate. I sometimes get the same thing when I am booting it down the motorway and turn the heating on. It just needs tensioning either that or your belt needs replacing.

thanks speedemon

Could be the air compressor, try putting the heater on by pressing auto then press econ which gives heat without the compressor running and see if the noise is still present or not.
