Right, not sure if anyone remembers, I posted a thread asking about Mazda RX7 PCDs. After finding out they were the same as zeds, it crossed my mind that an RX7 which is due to be crushed by customs for non payment of dues has a set of 18" Seinna rims on it. Now they are similarish to the ones on my zed at the moment. These are much deeper dish with a flatter rim giving the wheel more definition.

Now the cars are going to be taken away soon, but have asked around and been told if the cars are not claimed (sat for nearly a year now), then I am welcome to them.

So here they are. They are in reasonable condition, the rims have scuffs on them, but will be laithed off, taken apart and rechromed. Will chrome the centre part of the rim too. Get new gaskets made for them and rebuilt.

Not entirely sure how much this will cost, but if all goes to plan then maybe the sale of my rims will cover that.

Anyway, here they are....bearing in mind they are filthy so have little shine and the picture quality is poor as I took them with my phone.

They are very nice rims Si :D

I prefer a simple 5-spoke design myself because it suits my red car better. But as yours is white those will indeed look good

I do like the Rays you already have though........... :x:

Richard :smw:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

they look very nice dude and will look good on your zed imo, specially as they have a deep dish style

You need bigger rims on your Zed though Kev I reckon....wide arse ones at the rear...would compliment what bodymods you have, they look a little dwarfed by the rest of the car.

Thanks guys...I'll try them for size anyway and see what they look like. More presence than my current ones but lack shine. When chromed like mine are, I think they'll look a lot better.....we'll see. Failing that I'll just flog them.

They'd be awesome if they were 18's,

you know deep rears make sence, as long as they are 18" 255+ you're laughin'

I've seen some shite wheels and people swear by them so it's down to you.

IMO i'd have them only if they were 18" 255 +

Choose wisely ;)

They are 18"...same size as my current ones. The rear tyres on my zed now are 265 wide. These are the same. But with that more agressive dish, it'll give the car a lot more road presence.

i'm currently thinging about a set of these in 19's for mine

New ones from the Mazda will look better, after being re-furbed of course.

Not my particular favourites, prefer 5 spokes IMHO, but its your choice.

If you had gone for a poll, I would have voted for the change.

Still a very nice looking car though.

Best of luck in your choice mate.

Do it then! Nice wide deep dish at the rear too.
