a question i'd like to know the answer to too. I'm running 14.5psi or there abouts without any problems.. my question is how much power/torque can standard engine internals take? and what the max psi the standard T25's can push?

Im on around 14 low and 16 hi, but normally use it in low on the roads.

Caused me no probs.

cool i take it your both on standard tubs and fuel etc? mine has apexi air/fuel + boost controller and is chipped, i have nothing to worry about then...?

just dont want my tubs to pop thats all..

i don't know how to use the apexi air/fuel thingy tho....?

ive been runnong 16 psi for a few years now and the tubs are startin to smoke now but that could also be due to decat. i certainly wouldnt push em any further than that.also 16 psi is a bout the highest standard tubs can run before they cant push anymore air through anyway.deffo need extra fuel though.

cheers for that and away we go... :D

ill start a new thred on how to use my air /fuel thing..

you should get your car to a dyno or get a wideband o2 sensor and check your fuelling that way.. you don't want to run lean.. a quick go on a dyno will cost around £45 or so and they'll give you a printout of your air/fuel mixture throughout the rev range at full and partial throttle so you can either get them to set up your AFC or make slight adjustments yourself if need be.. (the widebamd sensor is about £150 though i think that includes the O2 sensor and it's good for keeping an eye on things on a day to day basis).. something i'll invest in once i get it on the road again (very unlucky week for me).

Problem with running 14+ psi on t25's is the inlet temps, whilst the psi is there your inlet temps are probably stupid.

FYI: Standard injectors will max out at or just below 15psi of turbo boost (has been proven by various ConZult diagnostics). So no matter what turbos you're running, as long as you've got standard injectors there's no point in going beyond 15psi.

what sort of duty cycle to people think is best to run. Heard before shouldnt plan to run higher than 95% injector duty cycle as a safety thing.? Surly that would suggest we should be looking at running no more 15psi on standard injectors anyways..?
