Can anyone tell me what the rev limit is on a unchipped TT?

I get a missfire at 4-5000 rpm.

Its a jap spec but with a uk clock. And i was wondering if this has anything to do with it.

Thanks

Steve

Yeh i thought it would be around there.

So what the hell could be causing a missfire that high up the range?

I really would considder changin the spark plugs dude as they might be fowled up or the sparking gap is set a little too big.... Worse case check all the coils and make sure you have no breaks in the wires and the connectors arn't corroded... Hope this helps!!! ;)

Deffo clean the coilpack connectors.Cant do any harm giving the a good clean up.i had a missfire on one cylinder, cleaned the first connector i came across-problem solved-proceeded to clean the rest as a preventitive measure.

If the car has been derestricted by use of the usual component attached to the clocks, I would check this. Some of these delimiters seem to fail quite readily with some unusual symptons. If in doubt remove it to see if it improves.
