Just had the 300 laser ligned and camber adjusted. no vibration, no more tyre wear. hooo ray lol :D

How did you adjust the camber, with shims or the adjustable arms?

via my workshop i have a guy i take all our customer cars to for that type of work, they have the best equiptment on the market direct from the states to carry out all laser wheel allignment, geometry and camber adjustment.

Thats good news mate, I took my Z to a garage once for the balancing and tracking to be done, and the guy basically cofused me with science but basically said the thing thats out is something he cannot adjust unless I get adjustable rods etc fitted.

I also have a slight vibration through the steering wheel and the inside edge of the front tyres wear before the rest of the tyre, will having the same adjustments done solve my problem ? Anyone know of a place in the midlands/north that could do this ?

accidend damage repair places often have the right gear to set up suspension - had mine done when I removed the lowering springs and replaced them with normal height ones - cost £64.

Yeah most of the time vibration from the front is normally down to balancing.

 

i thought it was hicas first of all, i need new shock too, so ive replaced the rears aswell.

no, he means there is no provision for adjusting front camber & castor on a zed as standard!
