if you window trims were like mine and faded and looking a bit grey try this.. I used black boot polish..works a treat as it soaks into the trim and is waterproof and also once dry dosnt put black marks on anything that touchs it..just rub it on with a rag and rub it in..leave it to soak in for 10-20 mins..keep doing this till its black..mine took 3 coats to get it the black i wanted but looks brand new..I used it on the rear window trim, rear 1/4 window and side window sill trims, top windscreen trim...give it a go !

Made all the difference fixing up those small details!

You're joking right? It's highly corrosive to automotive parts - give it a week and the plastic parts will all have dissolved completely!

it was a joke lol

Yeh, I used to use black shoe polish on my old car trims many moons ago.

Smells nice too :/

Use a good brand though as it's got more of the black stuff in it!

The modern so-called 'back to black' products are usually CLEAR liquids FFS! They just make stuff shiney LOL.

:D i chromed mine :x:

 Are we all on about the same thing here?? as Back to black is just a silicone spray that brings life back to black rubber and plastic, and another member say's he has had his chromed?? Are we on about the metal trim where the paint flakes off or the rubber trim??

sorry pete..joke now realized..im a :smw:

KY Jelly if you got a dry trim....
