Sorry if all these questions have been covered elsewhere, but I did do several searches and couldn't really find any decent answers :o

 

Are there any differences between the gearboxes in turbo and NA Z32's? Or are they identical?

 

I've been told by a few people that there're several areas of the Z32 chassis which is basically identical to the R32 Skyline and other Nissan platforms. Can anyone tell me exactly what parts are interchangeable?

UK and Jap spec box are interchangable.

Brake calipers/discs/pads are interchangable with the R32. R33 one's are bigger but fit, as an upgrade.

Aah, someone with the same colour of S13 as me! Except min has no spoiler and has an SR20DET in it... Will the R33 Brembo's fit under the standard 16" wheels, or would you have to upgrade to 17's?

Aah, good call, thanks. Wonder why I didn't see that...?

I think the bellhousing on the turbo gearbox is larger - due to a larger clutch, think all the gearbox innards are the same through.

 

R33 brakes will need 17" wheels. If the don't then you're buying the wrong ones, eg R32

17s for sure, and even then its possible for the offset to be wrong.
