It looks like a really nice car,I tried ringing the numbers and cant get an answer.Im in Dublin/Ireland so dont want to travel without knowing the car is ok.Would anyone here be willing to have a look at it for me ? I know im new here and its a lot to ask but if I dont ask I dont get.

Also if anyone here has a 300zx around that price let me know,must be manual and targa roof.... Thanks..

it looks really tidy but make sure you really check it out.take it for atleast half hour drive ,check all temp ect and search for the buying guide and take it with you.

go on have a look what have you got to loose.

The ad specifically DOESN'T mention that it's a turbo, or an N/A, and with no rear spoiler it could just be an N/A. And yes I did spot the grills in the front bumper ;) Just a thought

Just got the guy on the phone, its a N/A,he said the engine and gearbox are good and it has a new clutch.Also said his bottom price is £1800.I couldnt really understand where he said he was as his english wasnt great,he is in London near some airport. Anyone interested in having a look at it for me ? PLEASE .... :bow:

Which site is it on ? Doesnt say if its manual/auto ? turbo/na ? year ?

I realy like the black one, I cant spend too much because when I get it back to Dublin I have to pa VRT and very expensive road tax.The VRT is about £950 and road tax for a year is about the same :(

if its gatwick airport i am going there about 16:00 on thursday if you can arrange with him to take it to the airport i will check it out for you , i have had a zed f0r 3 years now and think i know what to look for

 

let me know by 1pm tomorrow as i will not have access to my pc after tha as i am on my way home from Russia to morecambe Via Gatwick .......i could even arrange to drive it up to heysham port or liverpool from gatwick on my next trip home in eight weeks time if your stuck mate

I have a green 300zx which I am thinking of selling. It is 1987 model and in very good condition and only 65000 miles clocked. It has been kept in my garage for the last 10 years and I have only done a small mileage each year.

I was in the same boat mate, looking for either the zed or RX7. Both are lovely but the rotary engine could be troublesome especially if it has not had a rebuild..

 

Go for the zed, it is faster and I guess more reliable..

It can be tricky, I have an N/A and occaisonally I would rather have a TT.

 

but when I add up how much my N/A has cost me in the last 18 months, I think that buying a TT would have bankrupt me!

At the end of the day...test drive all, see which you prefer and do a little research.

 

Obviously when comparing an Rx7 to a Zed your going to get biased opinions. I like RX7's, but I cant fit in one comfortably and the mpg, reliablity and rebuild schedules are a tad scary.

Im goin to take my time and think about it while doing a bit of research on both cars. :headvswal
