I have an auto 300 and would like to no how complex a conversion to manual would be?? and what parts would i need to purchase

RB26 Engine or gearbox ? Anythings possible, but worth the work ??

 

Auto -> Manual conversion very much worth it though :D

I had it done by martyn at zen garage. was all done and im much happier now :dance:

Me and my lad done the conversion in 7 hours, excluding the pedal/master cylinder bit which I did previously so as to keep driving the car. It is pretty straightforward once you have got ALL the bits.

jeez thats fookin quick,so you removed gearbox fitted gearbox inc clutch flywheel removed wing ran all pipework from wing to booster ran all pipework to slave cylinder,fit centre console all in 7hours! :p

I think he means 7 hours in "Honey it will take time". i.e How long will it take you to change that outside light bulb Honey?

 

er 2 mins?............one snapped screw later and a trip to B & Q.........2 hours

 

Its amazing how many DIY jobbers cannot remember how much real time it takes to do stuff............
