I have been thinking about something totally hypothetical but maybe interesting?

 

If there was no such car as the 300ZX what car do you think you would own?

 

Obviously it would have to have the same kind of value. Would you have a sooper soopra? would you have a skyline? etc etc.

 

I would have a skyline.

I would still be driving my 240Z, as none of the 300Zxs rivals interest me.!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Well actually Im still driving it anyway, as I didnt want to part with it! ;)

And unlike my Slicktop 300 it has gone UP in value since I bought it in 1998. :D

The Supra probably would be crap, it's only the good car it is because the 300zx was so good ToyMota had to go back to the drawing board just to make it better :D

Hmm...well before puchasing the zed I was looking at the Audi A4 V6 Quattro, Bmw e36 M3, Bmw e34 M5, Porsche 928gts....

 

but I've changed my mind since and it would probably be a V8 powered 240z/280z or a very early Mustang (prob eleanor lookalike) for myself, and something prestige for the wife.

Actually the Zed was my second choise and given the money I'd swap my zed for one tomorrow. Sorry guys. It's lighter and quicker, uses more fuel and is even more unreliabel than the zed - what more could you want!!! Reliability? Supra then, just a shame they hold thier bloody prices so well.

RX7 for me. Probably will get one in the future. Not sure if i can part with the zed though..........

Was almost gonna get a Tivver, pref Tuscan but a little too unrealiable.

 

Failing that both the missus n me love the TVR Cerbera 450.
