My rear lights and fogs are tinted but over time they have become scratched and stone chipped. Do I just spray over the top of the old tint?? or do I have to some how remove all the old tint and respray?? If so how the fook do I remove the old tint?? Also if anybody can suggest a better way of tinting them please post.

there is also a tint remover you can buy from halfords.

Bought a can of tint remover £4.99 and a tin of black tint £14.99 :shock: each tin is enough to do 2 lights :shock: so tiny tins. Anyway using the tint remover now on front fogs and the old tint is coming off very slowly and I am getting as high as a kite, and its going to take fookin ages. So if anybody thinks about trying this DONT.

a good way to tint is get some black paint and put a drop into some thinners then after trying a sample spray on another old light add paint or thinners to get the right shade,the thinners etchers the paint into the plastic lense. all this only iff you have a compresser and gun thou
