Had my first blue light run yesterday, after passing my efad (emergency fire appliance driver - or extremely fast and dangerous) course on friday. :nana2:

 

great feeling having everyone move out of the way for you whilst tanking it down the street!

you just wait till they dont move out of your way.... or even better.. when bombing down the road at ... faster then normal speeds and some granny or idiot decides to take no notice of you at all...... thats heart stopping...

crashes are all to common.... I am sure you learned that in your course.

 

I think my crash is being used on one of the safty videos now.... across the country... so be very carefull......... even if the blues and twos are flying.... and your carefull some idiot wont be.

it's when they "move out of the way" into your planned route your gonna stain your pants - gettin a call when the sunday drivers are out will be a killer!
