Fit a standard aerial connector to the thick cable and disregard the thin one. The thick one is the electric rear wing aerial and the thin one is the areial mounted in thr rear window above the demister.

Dunno bout ya bulbs though

which bulbs did you get?

I got the Xtreme White Xenon bulbs from Danny at DTA Motorsport, the 100watt ones and apparently his are alot brighter than the standard ones but mine seem really really bad :(

Any ideas

Nothing wrong with the 100 watt bulbs, one of the major causes of the poor light output on all zeds is the amount of dirt inside the glass and on the back of the projector lense, real gains can be had by removing the headlights disassembling the units and cleaning.

The extra output from the 100 watt bulbs is been scattered just the same as the lower power bulb.

Also unless you have modified the cable to the lights you will be getting volt drop at the bulbs due to the undersized cables which will reduce light output, also as voltage drops current goes up, hence so does bulb temperature and bulb life will go down, can be as bad as two weeks or less if used everynight!

Another problem you may have had is the bulbs have not seated well in the headlight apature, this is very common and can cause beam problems at MOT time.

Hope that helps

Yeah can of, im taking it to a garage to put one of those light alignment thingy's on it tomorrow.

It just sucks that you pay the extra for the extra bulbs and then the light is only about half of what the old ones were. Its really crap, everyone elses seems to be better :(

I think its just my car like mate.

Also now i need 2 rear tyres as they are now illegal :headvswal

Anyone know where i can get some cheap ones for the standard wheels in the north east?

exactly my thoughts ;)

i just ordered 100w dipped and 100w main beam bulbs, plus 2 55w fogs, plus the converters so they're plug and play.. so i hope they will improve the lights... i have also had the full headlights out, stripped, cleaned and re-sealed, so if this doesnt make a difference then i dont know what will..

i'll get pics soon, they should be in and working by friday night..

Tip Top Tyres down Scotswood Road in Newcastle - Eagle F1s were cheaper than BlackCircle by £15 for the front corners and £25 for the rears!

look at the thumbnails... the replacement bulb is lighting the bumper and the origional one isnt... take it out, re-seat it properly and try again as its obdviously not in the same place.
