I thought I would post this poll as it has happened to me before, and know I have just given up posting in items for sale. If I see somebody wants something I have got I will pm them, as in most items for sale posts some MF always puts in their 2ps worth and ruins it. :rant:

But if your selling something, I wouldnt post in your thread what a heap of poo it was. Some people do, thats just not on. However informing people sepratly away from your thread is, via a PM or another thread, different matter, but even here ther are limmits.

Problem is people dont do that, there is a case atm where a fella is selling his car on ebay and is/has got some flack over what he wrote in his advert there. Its not justifiable for some of the comment he has picked up. As of late rthere have been a few people jumpoing on people for all sorts of things. Post like this just inforce the feeling many of us have about it.

I think mods should move or delete from now on if its not a direct reply to the thread. If people have to make comment then do it on another thread.

For sale items go in the for sale section on the public forum so that they can be viewed by all that's the point of a for sale section. It also keeps the site tidy. That's what the section is for. Let's all use it correctly and not abuse the For Sale Section.

 

If someone doesn't want or like what's on offer in the sale section then they should ignore it and not spam the thread.

HULLO!!! is the seller supposed to mail EVERY member to see if he is ok for cash this month lol

 

i think everyone seems to agree that for sale posts/adverts should be a no no

for interfering, yet day after day we have people posting, firstly "ebay is this anyones on here" then when no reply it seems ok to savage someone selling summat, then winding up to people asking the seller questions cos a few may agree THEY don't like summat

why ask if it belongs to someone on here first? because you don't want to upset a member maybe? so thats ok if you don't know the person savage away? if i see something i don't like on ebay or on here i move on without the need to get the blood pressure tablets out or make a comment

others seem to go out of their way to comment on EVERYONES car if it's summat THEY don't like, this could also go in the opinion thread lol and the recent one about upsetting people etc etc,

 

if you feel the need to add i don't mean to offend anyone, there is a good chance you are or you wouldn't have added it?

i saw a recent thread where a member asked for comments (wrong move lol)

but some saw fit to make that person uncomfortable enough to maybe move on, then we have certain people who's life aim is to comment on every car and hang the consequences, i wouldnt mind if they had the best example of a zx on here (imho, not wishing to offend, only my personal views etc it's shite, see how easy that is lol) :nono:

 

maybe the forum not only needs a spell checker, but also a "WHY ARE YOU POSTING THAT" option, or please read through twice before comments are submitted

 

if your happy with YOUR CAR and the bits you want to buy, why get stressed over anyone elses options? UNLESS ASKED

youve changed your tune, and this is non z related general disscusion, so if someone wants to talk about crap they can, and if you want to stir up that hornets nest again do it somewhere else
