how about a trip to Belgium? I go there with the missus on most bank holidays..there are some nice places and you can get a crossing on Speed ferries for £50 return...

Hi Kirbz,

ditto here actually. Missus is 30 in Feb also! She's booked herself laser-eye surgery as a present! LOL - at least she'll be able to see in the mornings instead of fumbling around for her glasses.

With regards to a present; I haven't decided yet, but if we do go away, we also have the headache of taking our 18 month old son too.

Good luck

Only kidding ;) How about Prague or France sounds good.

New York is amazing, the exchange rate is excellent and flights not too much.

If you're not wanting to spend too much, get a flight to a eastern European country like Slovenia or somewhere that's nice and cheap as well. Talin and Lublujna (sp?) are meant to be nice.

Toronto is a top city to visit - CN Tower (complete with brilliant 360 degree revolving restaurant), Niagara Falls, Lake Ontario, great clubs and bars and fantastically friendly people :D

if youre not looking to spend much, get on the ryan air webside, nice cheap flight , 2 nights in a hotel , nice weekend away fro not alot of cash. I saw norway on there the otherday for a fiver each way plus taxes.

How about dublin? they virtually give them away from Liverpool, i went in October, penny there and a penny back plus taxes. Worked out to about 23 quid return.. cant beat it.

I was well impressed with the trip they done on Top Gear. It would be good to see that big bugger of a bridge in the flesh too.

All depends if the mrs likes sitting in a car.
