mm Mi Zed has decided to run like a camel when cold,if I floor it it misses holds back then pops and jerks nearly breaking mi neck and wont go under full load, light throttle is the only way it will go, did it tonight and yesterday.. I swapped my spare ptu thinking it could be that be still same??? could it be the CAS unit or maybe its a sparkplug breaking down when getting full juice on them cold??

anybody else had this??

im having similar problem for past couple weeks checked all usual components but still no luck tryed different ptu put new ecu temp senser harness even tryed another fuel pump and new plugs so very confused first got code 13 then 22 sorted them then all clear then started car it ran for 10/20mins cut out again wont start now got code 21 for few seconds but then after another check code 55 all clear so now im very pi***d off

Have you tried to do a code readout from the ECU it may give you an idea is to what the fault is..

When i had this last year and i treid all of the Above! it was the CAS! It had an intermittent fault which was internal.

I did a code check and all clear , migh have to try a cas unit

A vacuum leak possibly? Check for any "hissing" under the bonnet. Other than that, a good time to replace injector and coilpack connectors. Its a PITA job but very very worth it. Temp sensor is worth a look too and make sure battery is up to the job and fully charged.

My mates did that and it was the AFM.

Lucky him! :D I wish mine had been that as i went through trying 3 different AFM's with no luck! Even the Consult did not show a prob with my Cas but when i changed it wow what a difference.

I now have 3 CAS and 2 PTU's and 3 AFM's and a Spare fuel Pump all which i had to buy off some of you guy's just to rectify the fault! :confused: ;) :D

Just one of those things unfortunatly but it was the cheaper option. ;)

Z Master how much do you want to sell one off the cas units for then so I can eliminate that out of the problem.

I will have to test the spare ones i have as i bought them and never tested all of them! Just fitted one and it worked. ;)

So far 3 different ptu's 2 fuel pumps, new plugs,cleaned all connections, new ecu temp senser harness checked all coilpacks tryed bybassing, control unit for fuel pump even loosened CAS and when i rotate it can hear some injectors and pump prime and get code 55 but still wont start so im extremely :confused:

Still could be CAS they do go without warning!

No one could help me on here when i had this trouble and no one thought it would be the CAS just search through my posts.

It took two of us to find the fault and i am a mechanic and the other was a mechanic from Nissan! With his Consult and his Zed ;)
