Hi guys. I'm a newbie to the Forum. I joined because I'm thinking of getting a Zed. As the result of an earlier thread I ended up having a beer or two with Karl. Well, when I say beer, I was on Guinness, Karl was on pints of 4 vodkas and a Red Bull! (That starts to hurt at London prices!!)

Today I went over to see the Zed, and what a monster it is! There are two things you can't appreciate just from photos:

1) Karl is Matt Lucas from Little Britain

2) The paintwork is phenomenal. The photos can't possibly do it justice.

The car is just awesome, and that's before you start it up!

Karl very kindly took me for a spin (nearly literally - the roads were greasy).

We hit the M4, did a couple of junctions, headed north and back into town on the A40(M). Karl let me drive on the way back, and I soon found out what happens when you put down too much horsepower down coming off a roundabout!

Thanks a million to Karl for trusting me with the beast and for putting up with all my stupid questions. It's helped me a lot. Good luck in Iraq buddy.

So if anyone knows a Series II, SWB, auto, low miles/kms, good history, un-modified, for a reasonable price then let me know.

Yup, it certainly is an amazing piece of work when you see it in the flesh.

Whilst it's not my cup of tea styling wise, it does look like a lot of time and effort has been poured into that car. :duffer:
