seen as though im going away, what IS BEST FOR THE CAR, take out all fluid and bat off and leave it garaged or keep everything how it is and get sumone to start it every week or so.

Take battery off and leave it covered up. Unless you have someone you can trust to turn her over and give her a little run every fortnight.

Why? Draining your fluid is not going to do anything. It's not being used. The oil is not breaking down nor is the coolant.

I used to store my 3 door cossie every winter, but started it a couple of times a month.

As long as the zed gets a small run about once a fortnight (in dry, non grited conditions) it should be ok I believe.
