just wondering if it was anyone here on the owners group who managed to smash their 300zx up at the ace cafe on wednesday while taking out a rs turbo and a clio it was quite funny

When i crashed my ZX two weeks ago i skipped a heart beat for the 2nd time in my life. Very sobering experience. I was furious with myself. I did make an effort to get the car off the road by letting it veer into the barrier. I didnt want anyone else hitting me or crashing themselves..

did you do much damage mate???or is it fooked?

It is bad timing, thing is, Zeds are so fVckin cheap now, any cock with £2k can buy one and their leathal in the wrong hands.......

 

Jeez, I still dont feel I understand mine properly and thats after 3 years, these cars have got to be respected......time for a bit of track day fun this year I think....

I was very lucky that i span the car at 55mph and hit the barrier at 20mph on the passenger side front corner. The barrier absorbed a lot of the energy of impact and came of its posts for 30m. I had to replace the front bumper, side wing and intercooler. Could have been a lot worse.

Collected it from a wet and windy SW London, driving back onto the M4, came off a roundabout following some gimmer in a Fiesta, joined the dual carriageway, just tapped the throttle and found myself going sideways in a car I really didnt know how to drive. Managed to correct and no damage done, but my bum hole was opening and closing at warp speed!

I think we have all done that a few times...took the car out the other day when we had all that ICE the back end was all over the place & I was only doing about 30.....Will take the van next time, the Zed just does not like icey or wet roads........Good job I got some new boxer shorts for Christmas...

 

I may have to take them back to NEXT to see if they do them in Brown instead of Black... :D

Blimey!! You were lucky. That could have been an awful lot worse. Glad you're still in one piece.

Never crashed mine.... just scared myself witless two or three times.

Haven't crashed mine yet but had a couple of worrying moments. My engine has been through a wall though when the engine hoist went over. Even I had to laugh at the time but not as much as the neighbours when they saw the V6 sat in the road!

Mines currently in need of a spot of paint on the nose from when someone pulled out in front of me without looking. I ended up spinning it round on a small country lane, fortunately it was only a bit of paint damage and a crack in the plastic thing underneath.

mines needing a bit of spraying on the passenger door because some absolute fookin to55er with fookin 5hit for fookin brains in a fooking 5hit fiesta decided to crash into the side of my Z and drive off and not report it. Police are checking the cameras that are situated all around the r/about, I just hope they give me a name and address.

chill out guys ive got a 300zx myself and no one was hurt i cant believe how serious some of you guys get take a chill pill anyway the guy was driving like a twat doin burnouts then he lets off the brake floors it while the wheels are still spinning and gets well out of shape couldnt control it and straight into an rs turbo and into a clio the way i see it is if you cant do the time dont do the crime.I mean anyone who gets hurt or whatever through no reason of their own the thats a different story but if you drive like an idiot what do you expect

 

yep agree with you,but if you put this in the 1st place and aslong no one was hurt apart from there ego,then the response would of been better ;)

not only do we get threatend with bans and ignored when we post things that others dont like, but we now get threatend with a posse and get told that we will be beaten up for it too

 

granted a little thought could ahve been put into the first post but a little thought could have been put into the replys too

 

anyhoos, some uninsured driver reversed into me a few months back apperently he didnt see me or hear the horn on my car, and not to mention that its one of the loudest cars on my estate
