 de-cat downpipes from Z-centre approx £200 had mine now 18 mths cant fault them fitted at zworld as closer to me

chris in traders section was doing decatt+down pipes for £140 xmas special.

Smithy in the traders section offers some greg dupree divorced downpipes, which i personally had fitted and have noticed a difference in response.

Im currently waiting for some de-cat pipes to be sent over from Greg dupree in the US as i couldnt find anyone here who offered them, only thing is u get stung on shipping a bit, but i believe the quality is second to none.

Not saying that the other traders on here dont offer good stuff cos they do, but just might be another option for you.

Cheers,

Dan.

the problem is,it could take 2hours or 6hours depends if the old downpipes come off with no hassle from the turbos, the top bolts on the driverside turbo are prone to snapping and if both top ones snap it can be game over but,if patience and lots of wd40 and working the bolts in and out until they free up,but as said at a rough cost at a garage would be 4hours labour just as an approx guess,5min job with the engine out :D

the best way is to have straight through pipes so they just bolt on to the existing downpipes,no cats and less hassle of fitting divorced!IMO

cheers mate  might just be worth putting decats on myself for now :D and waiting to get downpipes on later if engine got to come out

its always worth spraying the bolts with lots of wd40 and leaving it to soak for a few days then repeating a few times... i did this when i replaced manifold and downpipes on my 200sx and it really helped the job along... used the best part of a can of wd with 5 or 6 good soakings but nearly every bolt came out with little effort and was well worth the work.. guessing a zed be even more impressive after !!
