Noticed my fronts were on the tread wear indicator this morning......not good as I'm off to Cornwall for a few days on Saturday.

Rang round a few places and managed to get a pair of 235/45/zr17 Dunlop SP9000 fully inclusive for £235 from Hi-Q in Slough.

Pretty good price there I thought, as E-Tyres wanted £220 and they may not be able to make it by tomorrow, not ideal as I don't want to go on hols with worn tyres. ATS wanted £285 for the same tyres :xxx:

I fitted Dunlops to the rears back in the summer after the F1s lasted 6000 miles, and TBH they're very grippy too and should last a bit longer.

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

another reasonable priced tyre when needed next time is the falken range not sure off the type but i had them and so does speedfreek do a search on here! and it should come up with them, good allrounder and last well.

I just had to do the same for my MOT. Assumed I only needed fronts but after looking the rears were gone to. Same as you on the front and more pirellis on the rear. They are good tyres but I wanted to give some others a go but the place only had those ones in my size. Dave

try tyldesley tyre and exhaust i get 235 35 19 tyres from them at 85 plus vat bear in mind they are for my st200 not a z but there cant be that much diffrence

Try these guys there prices are really good for tyres and they include delivery and VAT

I think yo can pay extra for quicker delivery

Dunlop SP SPORT 9000 235/45 R17 ZR £94.80 per tyre

I know mate - that's for delivery only as you still need to pay someone to fit them. Still it probably would work out cheaper from them though, but I needed them supplied and fitted yesterday!

I'd be wary of sticking that kinda tyre on a high powered RWD car like a Zed, can only end in disaster....buying cheap tyres is not clever.

lol dont make me laugh i had a z and used runners for the whole 4 years of using it and killed more tyres than any other living z owner.....you guys worry too much.....z's are not that good they are fun but they are not the demon everyone makes them out to be you would have to be a real knob to lose a z even when being a complete nutter
