Been out in the snow . . . . With the Zed TT

Ok, me and my dad have been out to play snooker tonight, instead of getting the bus we/i decide to drive.

the road were fine at the time and just the same as drive after its been raining.

I get to the snooker hall fine.

I then notice half way through (only went for 2.5 hours) that the snow is falling, was only falling light and the road are still visible so kept on playing, then the snow really came down and within 10 mins the car was covered agian :headvswal and the roads had gone :wack:

anyway driving home took 50mins which would normally take about 6/7,

the car kept going sideways . . . . literally

Anyway im home same but more importantly the zed is :smash: .

I think ill be on the bus to work tomorrow :(

God no! I'd not want to punish it with the ravages of salt and grit. I've seen the condition of some of the Uk spec ones. Want to keep mine away from such horrors. ;) :)

Went out in the snow in the Zed not much fun they hate slippy roads won't be doing that again C**** my pants & only 5 MPH...LOL

Y'know, that makes a nice x-mas card pic!

tell me about it!! went to pick my bro up from his girlfriends, got there......no snow........come out 30mins later......... lots of snow!!!! took an hour to go 17 miles as most of it was sideways!!lol gona leave her at home from now on!! :wack:

Just drove from Bath to Studley (Warwickshire) in mostly snow in my Zed. M4 and M5 were not a problem but the smaller roads were pretty iced up already. Picked up a gearbox which weighed down the back nicely - didn't have any problems at all controlling it - didn't go sideways ones!

Please people be carefull out there!

All the best,

Dan

My Z wont be going any where this weather,I have a job keeping her straight on a dry road :D

However had some real good fun in the snow with the 4x4. I took her off road in deep snow and could drive at 60mph corner very hard and she handles like a dream

That was the morning after Xmas day (Boxing Day)

So Technically it snowed on xmas day

nice looking motor pk,, very nice, didnt thimk i would like a yellow zed but yours looks sweet,

thanks paul. heres a pic a few days after i got her and then after i got the spoiler removed.

its still stock on the suspension, i have bought loads of bits and have them sat in boxes, still working out details with the interior trimmers, still waiting for my carbon look leather and the other leather to arrive from katzkin in the states, just gotta get the front and rear bumpers now.

then buy a cheap ass runaround to use while the works being done on it.

its gotta goto ztech, silverlady interiors and bodyworkplus to have all the work done at the same time then to performance exhausts in cardiff for the tubi system to be fitted.

wife says im nuts and should by a new car, but seeing as i didnt geet the lambo i wanted im gonna spend my cash on this now. looking forward to getting her done for summer if i can get time to organise things, runnning the business takes every hour of the day!! so does getting ready for a new baby!

only thing i dont think looks right on the car is the rear alloys size, so gonna see if i can get a 19" in that model and fit that on the rear to fill that arch a bit..
