Do they sound cool....

....or is it me just being a num nut again

All the highly tunned demo cars have short exhausts eg. Norris Designs Evo.

Are these the best of both worlds or have i got them confused for something else?

looks like you would need a bypass (extra exhaust pipe) to go past ur cats etc.... best bet (and prob a lot fooking cheeper) is to get a de cat mate, think it would be a lot of work for fook all really :D

Cat?? What's one of those

I've already got decats, thought they were for some other purpose, oh well.

To me sounds like a good idea if your worried about de-catting and the dreded oil seels.

Can drive about as normal than at the pod or your privite test track, open up to a decatted system when you need it.

But would the ECU have problems with this?? Airflow ect if it keeps changing?

looks to me like they just go in line and when you open the valve it ports out of the tube so it doesnt goto the silencer, bit like taking a plain pipe from the headers and thats it.

there is a similar thing on the lamborghinis, its a sports valve in the exhaust you open it up inside by pressing a button called "sports" and it opens this valve to give the car a better performance and a louder fookin sound!!!
