Need some help; always loved the 300zx but most I loved the SWB model as matter fact I am strongly thinking about buying the swb, but I really hace this dilema, if you would have to buy between the SWB and 2x2 why would you choose one or another?

I mean can anyone please give me some helpful hints on the comparison and good and bads about the SWB compared to 2x2? and viceversa?

some folks quoted me that SWB is less stable on the road than the 2x2, weights less and is shorter in lengtgh is this correct?

What would be the good and bads about both models?

need some help

merry xmas all!

Pro's - Lighter and shorter. Meaning a bit more responsive handling in stock form, but less stable high speed handling. Were not talking a big difference either way though.

Cons - No back seat ;) Harder to get some body parts for.

I have a SWB - biggest problem I feel is not so much the body panels but the glass. If some scrote puts your window in its nigh on impossible to find a replacemnt as there are so few SWBs in the country - you may find yourself waiting six weeks for one to be imported from Japan or be forced to pay ridiculous prices. Due to their scarcity they are also significantly more expensive.

My imported ZX TT manual is a SWB. If i had a 2+2 i would perhaps take the rear seats out to give me more storage space for putting computer gear in when i take mates to LAN parties.

Its a bummer that i cant get some nice bodykits from zcentre.co.uk for it cos its a SWB.

The rear seat goes down on the 2+2. It's amazing how much you can fit in it. I've reguarly travelled with TWO surfboards (one of them a 7.5 ft mini-mal!) several big holdals, tool boxes, two computers and god knows what else! Really practical for a sports car. Dave

best thing about a slicktop..... i got one ;)

tart!!
