Dunno' bud!-guessing around 1978??-got a pic if it helps ;)

Okey dokey mate.

Apparently there are 2 types.

1 has a pressed on pulley and takes a wide belt, the other one has a tapered pulley, which has a large bolt on the front, and takes a normal "V" belt.

My mate has the 2nd one that takes a normal "V" belt.

If its any good to ya, let me know and I will arrange to get it down to you ASAP !! :)

Well mine looks like this Allan but I'm not worried about the belt as I can get one to fit-I'ts the brackets that are more important!-LOL!-so I aint' got to make anymore! :D

Dont think this one will be any use to you mate !

Its not shiny enough !!!

Yeah, it looks the same bud. Will get a photo tomoz and post it up. Pretty sure that all the pumps are the same fitment on a 305 or a 350ci, Chevy or Pontiac around mid 70`s.

Will get it sent down as soon as. Still got a copy of your address somewhere.

Alan.............

Darren wouldn,t it be better to mod a zed one , after all were only talking mounting brackets and at least the working pressures would be correct , you might end up with steering as light and vague as an early jag :headvswal just my ten pence worth :D :D

But dude-it's got a serpentine pulley on it-got to then find a v-belt pulley that would fit the pump! :headvswal -don't worry been down that road! :o ;)

Oooo-I could kiss ya!(then again probably not,your a big lad!) :D

I spoke to my mate and he has one 20 quid, but i'll need to check to make sure its the right one

richard

Sorry for the delay mate, just in from work !! 24hr call out this week ! :(

Right then,

Called in a favour and got one here, its from the V6, but fear not !!

Pumps are the same, only the brackets are different. No probs coz the brackets just unbolt and youre V8 brackets should fit no problems !! ;)

Will grab a bite to eat and stick it in a box tonight, get it posted tomorrow and with a bit of luck you should have it before the weekend. Bearing in mind the Xmas post !!

Will need a wee clean up as its been sitting a while, but the car it came from was a runner, so it should still be ok. Still had ATF fluid in it when I removed it tonight.

Till later,

Alan.......
