Why are parts and after market bits so fookin expensive?? I believe that now people are paying so little for these magnificent sports cars, that all the suppliers off after market/ OEM parts and body kit should decrease prices to reflect the cost of the car it's self. For e.g you pay more for a nice coil over suspension set up than you do for the Z it's self on Ebay. Rant over. :rant: :rant: :rant:

I'm sure that the low prices have come about because buyers are so shit scared of buying a lemon that will cost a fortune to put right. As our cars get older, this fear is becoming more of an issue. This is why you can make so much more money by breaking a car these days than by selling it as a runner :(

this is the most expensive car for bits ive owned, even the indiglo dials are a rip off, i paid £20 for my last car for them

I also own a Volvo V40 estate, I was just searching Ebay and found a rear set of discs and pads for the Volvo £39.99 plus p/p, Nissan 300zx pads and discs £235 plus p/p. I have now excepted that my Z is in for a hell of a loss of money, and when and if I do sell it I am not going to get another one, as I am really depressed about the prices they are going for and the fact parts are so expensive. :cry: :cry: :cry:

the parts are expensive because it is an expensive car, £35k ish new, dont forget that...

Or get another when this one breaks, and use the broken one for parts as far as possible. Or buy a lemon, and use it for as many parts as possible :D
