i know i need the bits but how easy is it to actually do the bypass???

 

Yes i cant afford to fix it at the moment

Very easy. You just wire a 1megohn resistor into the Connector which is at the top of the engine.

Good find, and for gods sake have a look for dodgy wires before doing anything drastic ;)

..and check for green corrosion inside the connector plug...may get lucky.

I dont have the car at the moment, Martyn at zen Garage has it, ill ask him to have a quick look while he's doing the gearbox conversion for me

before even thinking about getting it bypassed, get it serviced and change them plugs (even the two hard ones at the back)

Well i will but the problem is that pennies are tight at the moment due to all the crap with the gearbox etc.
