I have a pair of brand new indicator/ side light lenses which use silver bulbs, but what I need to know is what does the bulb holders look like as on my old ones they where just indicators. I have the large hole for the indicator and just beside it is a smaller hole for the side lights. Is there such a connection for both bulbs?? They where originally bought for a front bumper that did not have holes for the side lights. Thanks in advance. ;)

Mate, if you want to put functioning side lights in your indicator cluster you'll need bulb holders to fit 501 bulbs (also sometimes referred to as W5W or "blade" bulbs). These are the same as the ones used in the side repeaters. It is next to impossible to find these holders and a loom from a motorfactors and I have been trying for over a year! What I'm now doing is getting the side repeater holder and loom from a breaker and splicing that into the existing wiring loom.

If your car didn't originally have side lights then splice it into the running lights located in the fog lights. That way when you turn on the lights the side lights come on automatically.

Hope this helped - if not give me a shout and I can talk you through it.

Regards,

Danny

I have sliced mine into the main loom as already suggested.....

I went to the scrapyard and the sidelight bulb holders from a Nissan micra fit perfect, and are correct length too, I use Xenon white LED 501 bulbs in mine and they look cool.
