saw one at haynes museum the other week, nice car, stainless steel body.. etc.. bit of a rare find in the uk now but loads in the states.. thats where most of them went.

Yep, ultra rare...with cool factor from "back to the future"..but there actually a load of crap tbh :(

Sorry, but what a d1ck...you get a Delorean and paint it!! That boils my piss!!!!!

They are ubber cool, but that's only because they were in BTTF films. I like em, but if they hadn't have made it to the big screen, they'd be worth as much as a Renault Fuego.

Just needs a Chev 350 V8 instead of a shitty Renault 25 V6 engine.

it weighs 1200 kg.

but with 155bhp

0-60 : 10.5 secs (DMC claimed 8secs..but it was vastly exaggerated)

nah...just fit a Flux capacitor

How much were Delorean charging for that new?

Delorean was a corrupt business man & did our country out of millions :(

Used to be a bloke had one in Sheffield it was always parked

outside Yates wine bar in the mid 80's Looked so cool.

All the die's for the panels are dumped in the Irish sea.

The government backed his factory with £80m of public money, in the hope that it would create 2,000 jobs in west Belfast in 1973. And just short of 9000 were produced

Yep, unfortunately a bit of a bus.

Its a shame they're totally unreliable really. Beautiful looking machine, bags of style for its year. Engine was crap, too easy to break into. The front plastic panel over the headlights always bends with the heat from the lamps, the windows jam, the doors twist. The heater system is even more crap than the 300's!!!! Always electonic failure.

And they LEAK!!!

Apart from that and the fact that they probably are the coolest machine next to KITT!!

I always dreamed of one and polishing it up to stainless steel finish, but i think it would have been illegal on the road, but how BLING would that be!

The side windows have a flap that opens as they could not get normal windows to wind up and down - duhhhh!

For sublime eccentric cars give me a Renault GTA anyday.

I would like one but I think once I'd got it home & had a good look around it I'd be feeling ripped off!! The quality was very poor.

at the kent modified show in august this year there were 9 of them there a bit of a meet i think, since we only had 4 zeds there ourselves

Wasn't there some kind of drug scandal type thing?? overheard someone down the doll queue. Or maybe not. I dunno!
