Tyres for Stock Wheels

My rear tyres are approaching slick status.

 

I'm running stock wheels and currently have

Goodyear Potenza 'pole position' boots.

 

They seem ok handling wise (although I've only had the Z for 4 weeks and the weather been sh*ite)

 

Any ideas, and what should I look to pay

(i'm in the sunny south east ...)

    ...I'm in the sunny south east too but running a jap import na using standard wheels - so not so much power going through the rubber. I'm tight when it comes to round black things so I shopped around and fitted 4 Falken 225/50/ZR 16's and in the 6 months they have been on they have been ok. They cost £69 each inc fitting and balancing - from xspurt tyres in Ipswich - 01473 254596.
