Hi guys,

 

I want to replace my handbrake lever with a momo or similar cover, how do I get the old standard one off ?

 

I just want to replace the cover, not the gaitor.....

The Mono's ones slip over the existing cover, but it can be removed by cutting. Its glued onto the Metal shaft.

does it? I didnt even try that. Just pulled the shit out of the stock one, prized it off with a bit of wd40 and a small screwdriver. :D

Heat it with a hair dryer, then pull it off with a glove.

just bought a momo one and will fit it when it stops raining.......

 

Haven't driven the Z in 7 weeks cause of the weather, its tucked away in the warm, poor thing, so its off the road til summer time and i'm gonna spend some money on her

When i bought mine, i was given a selection of rubber bungs. Just played around 'til i found the one that fits. I thik the bungs are about £2 each. The covers themselfs are all the same size.

No need for that just cut 1 inch off the old sleeve and it fits fine,the fitting kits you buy for them are a con.
