Contact Smithy in traders section he sells fuel line kits.

Its the one under the fpr! everybody thinks tightening the hell out of the ones they can see will stop it. Then they dont know about the one right under the fpr feeding down to the fuel injector rail. The one right under the fpr is hard to get at - you have to take off the trim over the throttle cables to see it and its quite hard to get a screw driver near. Ordinary 8mm high pressure fuel hose from Harrys replaces all. You can even re use your old clips. Its when the hoses are so shrunken with age that the clip cant clamp them any more and the rubber doesnt seal when cold. Take a look under the car next time - you'll be amazed at how much fuel is pissing out down the back of the engine!

I used to get the "dreaded" petrol smell so I changed to smithy's stainless steel fuel lines - which cured the problem. Over the last couple of weeks it came back, and having re-tightened all the screws was a bit annoying it was still there - that is until I found WillieO's post (above)

I had a look and petrol was leaking from the bottom pipe under the FPR. Once I tightened the clamp no more fuel smell !! It should also help my feul consumption !

Thanks WillieO !!

Jeremy

I tightened all the pipes i could see and it wasnt till i got the torch out i spotted the small pipe under the frp was leaking like a 50p whore after a busy night( sorry about the imagery)
