Right have been in talks with pub that will have a cavery and alacart food option, and also Halfords in Gloucester. It looks as if the meet will run

like this:-

 

Sunday January 22nd 2006 NEW DATE CHANGE

 

Meet @ Halfords Eastern Avenue Gloucester 12.30

(for coffee n tea etc, there you will be handed a map )

Leave Halfords @ 14.00 to travel via the map to the designated mystery pub for carvery lunch @15.00 £7.95 per person( we will arive here at this time so not to hit the lunch rush hour)

 

I will need to know numbers to give the pub a rough figure befor arival

Bear in mind that thats an 1.5 hours In Halfords car-park to spend looking at the Zed's in January weather, when many members have previously indicated that they wont have their zed's during that time.....just a thought.

The pub is not an hour drive from Halfords the hour timescale alows for problems

etc, as so does the other times, as we all know none of us on a sunday are always on time.

Agree, an hour isn't that long if people are arriving in dribs and drabs. Would be better for a late spring meet maybe?

 

I could say this about every meet though....I dunno....sounds good though....I might be up for that. Could co-incide it with a weekend in Worcester.

I did take it out last weekend though, just had to. It got rained on though.... :(

 

But I dried the car off before I but it back in the garage. Put the heater on too. :)

dont know about you guys but why have all the meets got to be on a sunday, coz if thats the case you wont get any of us down from salisbury or surrounding area, i work in london so have to travel back sunday auto beast works his nuts off and is most the time busy sorting his shit out aswell b4 he goes away, most the times sunday night.

 

 

just a suggestion to make sum on saurdays.

Hi Karl, Mainly becuase we have a lot of members who work on saturdays. I guess we could alternate it.

 

Will start a new thread regarding setting up a Calender for the year

soz if it sounds like im nagging about silly things, but i just dont think..................................... well dont worry about wat i think, i just know that i went to a SW meet in bournmouth a while back and it was really really shit all they wanted to do was drive round town like a boy racer, then i go to a middlands one and its spot on, every one comes like they said they would.and its a great atmos, good chats and laughs.
