At risk of being banned again for posting what could potentially be trash but...
I have been convicted of driving without insurance :slap: and I have had some insurance quotes for when I get my driving licence back, and quite frankly they are horrendous.
I will be starting again from scratch, have to take a driving theory and practical test, although I will have 12 points on my licence for 2 years and then 6 for the following 2.
All of the quotes I have had are in this ball park : Ford fiesta, R reg, £2500 TPFT.
Does anyone know of an insurance company who will be able to improve upon this, as I am at my witts end, and when i do eventually get a nissan z car it will be a classic policy on a 350z
I am 19 (although will be 20 just after christmas, and will be taking my driving test then) which doesnt help my case. Admiral are shockingly expensive, IIRC around £4000 for a cavalier 1.8, but i have had better quotes for a car of this size, around £3000.
