Hi guys ,first time post for me ! Does anyone know if TT injectors , will work

on an n\a with a chipped ecu as a performance mod . cheers tweaky

welcome tweaky

i should think so aslong as it is remapped properly but i think the stck injectors are good for quite a high bhp figure..

but another more technical figure should be along shortly

all the best

Thanks for that gaz . Was just some thing ,i was thinking about as winter project cheers tweaky

yes they will, as long as if your car is pre 94 then you get pre 94 TT injectors as after that i beleive the rail and style of injectors changed

As a rule of thumb the injector size will match the BHP its good for, so the standard NA (270cc) is good for 270bhp with the 370cc TT's good for 370cc. You need to do some serious modding to bring an NA up to that sort of spec, but the upside is that the bigger injectors will be working less hard eg (theoretically) 200bhp will have the 270's working at 74% out put while 370's will be working at 54% for the same horsepower.

Before anyone gets all technical about those figures, its by way of an explanation :)

So what you sayin ? Its a no go thing or what !!!!!!!

i think jock is saying that the upgrade would mean the injectors will not have to work as hard to produce the same amount of flow as the stock injectors which is a good thing.

but the stock ones are good for 270bhp

so it is really up to you and is dependent on what mods you are planning on in the future.

Ohhhhh!! I dunno, make me an offer i cant refuse.

There are a few guys on here that do chips/remaps, but i'll leave it to them to reply bud. Maybe best to start a new thread for that one thou.

£40 sounds good to me

How'd you wanna do it, cash (meet up somewhere) Paypal or cheque??

I have a chip for an N/A manual that I could probably mod to match your injectors. It'd be a bit of an experiment, but it may well work.

YHM bud!

Cheers guys . was just a thought , on tryin to get more fuel in , and more performance ! Tra

you do know that just by adding bigger injectors aint gonna make any difference tho dont you - youre gonna need other mods that allow the engine to breath that much more to actually require more fuel!

Have all ready de- catted , mongoose system ,hks filter and denso plat plugs ! TT injectors was just a mod was ,thinkin about to go with ecu and remap dude !

just a small warning: Nissan moved to the new style injectors + fuel rail on NA's at a earlier stage (somewhere around late '92), so if you have a '93 or later NA, most TT injectors are not going to fit.

Easiest to tell if you have new style injectors is by looking at the injector connectors, if these are oval shaped you have the new model, square shaped is the old model.
