With 2006 fast approaching, I'm looking for some ideas and feedback for SE meetings in the new year.

I'm talking to Legrath about a joint SE/SW meet at Beaulieu Motor Museum possibly in January/February.

We've got the National 300ZX meet which is already in the planning stages and of course JAE!

I'm looking to maybe organise a track day (possibly Brands Hatch) if there's enough interest.

Also, a SE Dyno day, possibly at Surrey RR where Jay organised a great day earlier this year.

Please post up any additional ideas or views on the above. Any feedback is as always appreciated!

Steve Beaulieu Motor Museum sound's like a good idea I would say February would be best.

Track day I think I would be up for that too, I think you need to try and get the cost of the day to no more than £150 if you get it for £100 even better..

RR day is good fun but its a bugger to get people to go as I think every one thinks there car well blow up..!! I done it twice and well do it agian it just the same as you booting it on the road.

Steve how about a meet later on in the year at brooklands museum were thay are as we speak building concorde http://www.brooklandsconcorde.com/ plus thay have vintage cars to F1 cars and old fighter planes

Jay

Steve, I think Beaulieu has some ptential. LOL!

I could also be interested in a rolling road meet, although I would be paranoid about breaking the Z.

Thanks for your help on this one bud! Will get back to you soon...

I've never seen a car damaged on a RR before bud! It's a very quick process and no worse than booting it in third on the motorway for 25 seconds or so :D

yep id be up for almost everything , i cant have a year like i did this year, ,

but very glad to of met all of you in the process of getting the zed bzck to former glory ,

so glad to show it off when its done, which will be before 2006 , ie 3 weeks, , very interested in brands, track day also , roling road, want to put back in what ive got out of this club and forum , cheers guys! you all no who you are !!

Beaulieu is a good idea, if there will be a load of zeds going , perhaps giving them an advanced warning of a large contingent would be good, maybe it could be a regular once a year or so. It cant be that often that a lot of one model /make clubs do an outing on mass down there.

I'd be up for a a SE/SW meet as I missed the last one and the Hayes museum is a bit of a trek. Neither SE or SW meets are very close to Bournemouth, maybe we need a South Central region?

Incidentally, I'm organising a TVR meeting on the Sunday the 8th January where we're meeting somewhere in Poole (TBC) and driving through the Wareham forest to a very nice Pub in Studland called the Bankes Arms. The pub will be reserving a section of the car park exclusively for us.

It's sort of here-ish: http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?client=public&X=403000&Y=83000&width=500&height=300&gride=&gridn=&srec=0&coordsys=gb&db=&addr1=&addr2=&addr3=&pc=&advanced=&local=&localinfosel=&kw=&inmap=&table=&ovtype=&keepicon=&zm=0&scale=25000&multimap.x=349&multimap.y=189

As there will be relatively few TVRs (say 5-10), would anyone be interested in a joint TVR/300ZX meeting?

Ian A.

im up for pretty much everything once im back on the road! should be fine for end of feb/march, depending on how it all goes.

i will def be up for track and rr time, as well as beaulieu (sp). also pub meets. like the one i missed last week (sorry guys ;) ), theres some lovely pubs in sussex and kent, with decent gardens and car parks.

perhaps some nzr events too - like bowling, karting, paintballing, good icebreakers for getting to know each other better?

Are any of you guys into basketball. Either playing or going to games. I love to play but would not mind going to some games. The London Towers play at Crystal Palace. Just thought I would throw that out there.
