You're all a bunch of bloody ..... oops sorry wrong letter !

Anyway, I seem to spend a considerable amount of time searching around the various excellent technical resources on the Internet, but I can never remember where I last saw what I needed and the articles are arranged differently on each site. Therefore, I felt there was an opportunity to help out all the frustrated searchers. So having a copy of MS FrontPage (which I now hate) I have created a directory of all the tech documents that I have found so far (this afternoon).

Take a look :- http://www.300zx.org.uk

Comments, constructive criticism, additional links or suggestions are all welcome.

PS I Don't want to be a web designer - it's boring !

At first glance I cant say that there is anything wrong with it. Clear, user freindly and easy on the eyes.

Good job mate.

However, I would say, try and keep it in alphabetical order but if I'm not mistaken, it uses the Haynes manual order of reference.

No qualms here!!!

Good effort mate! Thumbs up big time from moir. wink.gif

Cheers guys, I know there's bits missing and bits that don't work but give me time and I'll suss out what to do. Anyone know how the counters work ? Maybe it's just because BT's server doesn't understand all the FrontPage server extenstions ...

Why, when I click on Diagnostics, does it goto the BT Open World home page?

In the Maintenance section, half the options are in a smaller or different font.

Your

Maintenance Intervals link

Opens the page in the same window. The others open up in a new window.

You want me to keep looking?

There is no search button on the homepage, but there is on all the others.

I presume that all the stuff you wrote opens in the same window and others open in a new window. I can understand this but it may become confusing when surfing through them and you end up having 10 windows open.

Other than that, fantistic work. Well done.

Andy,

I've had that font problem in other packages. I've managed to sort it sometimes but highlighting all the text I want the same, then changing it to something completely different and then changing it back.

No idea why it works but it often does.

Nice work on the Frontpage. I use Adobe Pagemill which does similar stuff if you like the idea of what it does but just not the specific package.

Thanks for the testing and comments chaps, I'll do a bit more tidying up.

Tim, I can usually force down a beer most evenings but I know you're usually at work. I haven't been over to Stevenage much recently, but we could do another Friday/weekend thing and get some of your stuff fitted.

Started filling in a bit more info and tiding stuff up a bit. Heading in the right direction I think. Good feedback from the Aus forum.

As ever suggestions welcome.
