Ever since I bought the car, 99spec rear lights and panel were on the very top of the list.

 

I partook in Smithy's group buy and midweek, I decided to fit them.

 

The difference it made is amazing. Compared to horrible amber standard lights. Really chuffed to bits with it. Looks better in the flesh, but here's a few before and after pics. :) Found 5 mins of non-rain and pulled it out of the garage. :)

 

Need to get a black tailgate panel now and do away with that scarlet coloured one....which I broke today anyway. :(

Nope, it's a Veilside evolution exhaust. Sounds nicer than the super dragger IMHO.

Amazing transformation they look really good. Especially on the white car. well done very nice mod matey.

Yes there are. Mine's a dark red/scarlet and it'll be being replaced with a black one soon. Want it all to match, plus the current one has a litte chip in it...and now a dirty great big crack.

Still indecided about a 99spec rear spoiler though. Love them, but I quite like the smooth boot on a pearl Zed.

I have no idea. Doesn't look bad, but I'd prefer it black.

I have always said that the white zed is the nicest looking without a rear spoiler Si. IMO. Yours looks fine mate. Its entirely up to you how you go with it mate but If it were mine that would do now. The 300ZX is a nice looking car in factory guise anyway what you have done is made it look a bit nicer than factory. Good on yer bud.

Mmmmmmm, I like the 99spec front. But don't think the pearlwhite would look as good as other colours with it. I like the early spec front actually. Not sure how/if I'd get a good colour match. Currently the bumper is a spot on colour match and it's also free from any marks/chips. I'll keep it as it is I think.

As for the 99 spec front - leave it alone. I reckon you're right about the pearl white colour match. Plus the 99-spec front looks better on a red ZX anyway ;)

great looking zed you have there, but then it would be, its pearl white ;)

 

out of interest, did you have the spoiler removed or did you buy it like that? Im totally sold on the idea of no spoiler, but concerned about how well the paint can be matched, if it was anything other than perfect it would spoil the look of it for me.
