I just noticed that the gaps between the top of the tyres and the wheelarches are different on the rear. The passanger side is about 2.5" and the drivers side is about 1". Would this point to sagging springs? As far as I know they are still all originals.

Cheers

Vijay,

Give it a quick bounce on each side just in case it's the way it's come to rest (although unlikely to be cause that much difference).

Also check that your tyre pressures are equal on both sides and that you don't have anything particularly heavy on one side.

Other than that, it does sound like springs. With a difference that great, I can only imagine that someone has replace one spring in the past and left the other original - very dangerous practice as the car will be well imbalanced. If this does turn out to be the problem you could well see a major handling improvement smile.gif

Dave

I've got that problem too on passenger side.

Benn like it a year and a half but not done anything about it yet...

Vijay mate,

Can't really comment on the stock springs but this may help a tad.

I just got Blitz progressive lowering springs from GPS...

Free ad...Johnny I'll take that 75 percent later mate...LOL biggrin.gif

But the lowering is different from front to rear...so what am I on about? Well if the aftermarket springs are different is it fair to say that the stock springs are the same?

Check with Nelson bud! wink.gif

Timmy,

the Blitz springs drop is only different front and rear COMPARED to the stock springs. Vijay is having problems with his left/right height which is very different.

Vijay mate, I'd follow Daves advice. It doesn't sound too healthy to me, unless you were bedding in new springs.
