My engine sounds like there are a bunch of circus monkeys under my bonnet with little symbols! :rofl:

Sounds like noisy cams or something, can anything be done about it or am i stuck with it? it not loosing performance but sound a bit pants!

I had the same problem sticking cam followers.. Ryan from Ztech advised to try this.. I must admit I was a little sceptical but hey.. Warm your motor up then put about 500ml of automatic trans fluid in to your oil .. leave the car running for about 30mins don't drive it.. Drain oil replace filter and refill.. Car will still rattle for 50 -60 miles or so then it just sorts it's self out.. Or the followers are totaly worn and need replaced .. but thats a big expensive job..

Give it a go fixed mine

yea but iv only done about 10 miles since!! could start to get a bit expensive!

Ok mate cheers, can you MP me your number again as iv lost it!!

Mine had a bit of a tick to it, so i switched from castrol rs10-60 to valvoline fully syn 5-50 and problem solved.

Try Amtech engine restore oil....get it on ebay

Before I rebuilt my engine it sounded like a fiesta but it would come and go as it pleased souded horrible thought it was the lifters but turned out to be the inlet cam pully had broke the internal spring that sorts the vvt
