i purchased what i thought was charmed season 1 box set in a used condition off of ebay.

i recieved this box set today but have found it to be an illegal copy of the set.

i have sent a message back to the seller which said either send me a real copy or issue me with a refund to which im waiting for a reply.

 

want to know what i sould do if i don't get any joy from this person

I know where you are coming from bud, keep trying to get it back through the seller, but check the advert to make sure it does not say anything about being a copy. Hope all goes well bud.

If you paid with pay-pal you can open a dispute case, i did a few months back on some Simpsons DVD's that i got, i did get my money back after 14 days

Ive had the same thing with a guy who sent me a copy he offered me a half refund ?

I said no and reported him to Ebay, Ebay were as much use as a trap door in a canoe :headvswal

Everytime ive had a problem Ebay are almost imppossible to deal with without going through there standard question and answer help section ! :headvswal

Well done Gaz on not just accepting it in the first place and sticking it on your DVD shelf.

I feel strongly about this. It's fine to make your own copies of originals which you have paid for, for you're own use . This is a massive business now . what really gets me going apart from the criminal element is the fact that artists create music and movies for our enjoyment. If it's a 100 million movie or a low budget album these people deserve their dues. Simple as that.

Happened to me too - bought Hellraiser 7 off a lad on ebay.

Came through on a copied DVD, contacted him and told him I was not happy. He said he imports them (*****x) and doesnt get chance to check every one.

He fully refunded me every penny without any hassle.

I think some people are just triers. I personally would want the risk of prison or big fines for selling a couple of £5 films.

the thing is it was only £11 that i paid out so i wasn't toooo bothered about loosing out its just the principle of false advertising i hate :rant: .

well ive got my money back but i still have to look for an original boxset of charmed season 1 for a xmas present now, and im not paying £50 for it LOL :headvswal
