I am currently unemployed and tryin to find a job that I

can do on a kinda self employed basis. Due to personal reasons I

am unable to get a normal 9-5 job, and need

to be able to work to my own schedule. My wife has a decent job, but its

about time I pulled me finger out and started earnin some cash.

 

Does anyone know of anything I may be able to do??

Absolutely, the moderators will take a very dim view of this behaviour and I am sure it will be moved to the "Drivel" forum in due course. However I think Hugh was also telling you to become a rent boy, and IMHO it is the way to go! :D

 

I will pop that leaflet in the post today for you mate, so knowing royal mail + snow + xmas post it should be with you just after christmas!!

 

One other idea that struck me was offering some sort of service to the club, for example "professional" photos of member's cars, you could even team up with Andy and produce a photo and drawing pack of member's cars? Not the best idea I have ever had, but its an idea nontheless!

you should get a job like mine......admittedly there fixed hours,but its the best job ive ever had......i start at 7.30am,put the computer on,turn the music on,put championship manager on,,,then wait till my lorrys come into load or unload,,,,,,,,sometimes i dont do nothing till 2or 3o'clock......everyone else in the company works in a office down london way.......a job with no aggro.....its great....

The E-bay idea is one way forward, my brother in law buys and sell all sorts of bits and bobs but mostly japanese cartoon or computor games/consoles that is his speciality (big kid really) he makes a good living from it, he sort of sits on certain types of things and sells when the timing is right. What you need to do is find what you know something about and buy and sell that. Hope this might help :D :D

I wouldn't recomend it but I've got a mate who has lived off of internet poker for 6mths since leaving the military!! He plays each day till he earns £60, and together with his medical pension it tops his old military wages. He reckons he can earn this usually in less than 2hrs each morning. I wouldn't like to think how much he has used in 'training' over the last few years but he just seems to know when and where to play and when to stop. Last weekend he earned £500 (and thats all profit), so doesn't need to play anymore this week. Mad bar-steward. Dave
