one last one.

im wiring 3 gauges into a triple pillar pod.

i want the gauges to come on with the igniton, which wire should i be connecting the live feed to?? any specific colour, or should i take out the ignition barrel and distinguish the beast?

Matey, took mine of the Black and Red from the ignition. White is the perm live and b/r ignition live. ;)

stereo,ciggy lighter,using a voltmeter makes ones life so much easier ;)

 

 

make sure you dont take a permanant live,otheriwse your gauges will be lit permantly,failing that wire them in to the headlights so they only come on when your headlights are turned on,remove right cluster,next to steering wheel,and test each wire whilst turning lights on each time,until you find the feed which powers the headlight again a voltmeter is needed
